Save It or Spend It? 🪎💸– A Financial Awareness Event by the Management Association

The Management Association of MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education, Doha, successfully organized an engaging event titled “Save It or Spend It” on 1 November 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 30 students representing the BBA and BCom programs. It provided participants with valuable insights into financial awareness, responsible spending, and the importance of developing effective saving habits.

The event was graced by Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Director, Dr. Sabiha Fazalbhoy, HOD-Management Sciences, and Dr. Saidia Jelani, HOD – Commerce, along with faculty members from various departments, whose participation and encouragement motivated the students. The event was coordinated by BBA faculty members Dr. Shamshad Ahamed Shaik and Dr. Heena Mulaani.  Through its engaging activities, the event offered students an enjoyable and practical learning experience helping them understand the importance of making informed financial decisions and striking the right balance between saving and spending.

The event concluded with prize distribution to the winning teams and reinforcing the value of financial literacy and experiential learning among students.
