Recently, our Commerce and Management students embarked on an insightful journey into the vibrant world of startups, marking another milestone in our collaboration with the Qatar Business Incubation Centre (QBIC).
Under the expert guidance of Dr. Sabiha, students were granted a unique opportunity to delve into the operations of "The Papercut Factory," a dynamic startup that has flourished under QBIC's nurturing wings. Beyond the confines of textbooks, our students witnessed firsthand the journey of a startup, from its infancy in the incubation stage to its rapid growth phase.
The visit proved to be an enriching experience, seamlessly blending theoretical concepts with practical insights. As our students navigated through the various facets of startup culture, they gained a profound understanding of the intricacies involved in building and scaling a business. Of particular significance was the emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendliness, with The Papercut Factory specializing in plastic-free, plant-based paper products.
