We are delighted to announce that MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education has entered into a formal collaboration with HOPE Qatar Center for Persons With Disabilities through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) — a significant step that reinforces a relationship built on years of shared vision and purpose.
This partnership opens new avenues for structured internships, joint training and certification programs, research collaborations, volunteering opportunities, and professional development initiatives for our students and learning community.
In particular, this collaboration provides valuable hands-on exposure for students of the B.A. Psychology program, enabling them to engage directly with professionals and individuals at HOPE Qatar. Through this experience, students will deepen their understanding of applied psychology, inclusive education, and real-world community engagement — essential for their personal and professional growth.
Through this MoU, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to inclusive education, skill development, and community engagement — empowering students to translate learning into meaningful real-world impact.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the visionary leaders of both institutions —Dr. Rajeev Thomas, Founder and Managing Director of HOPE Qatar Center for Persons With Disabilities, and Mr. Yasir Nainar, President of MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education —whose foresight and leadership have paved the way for this collaboration.
Our sincere thanks also go to the dedicated faculty members and teams from both sides, whose support and efforts made this partnership possible.
Together, MIE-SPPU and HOPE Qatar look forward to creating impactful learning opportunities that nurture empathy, inclusivity, and social responsibility — building a stronger, more compassionate community for all.
