MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education, Doha, Qatar, successfully organised the Indology Models and Posters Exhibition – “Global Heritage: India & the World” on 15th October 2026 at MPH.

The exhibition brought together students from diverse national backgrounds, including India, Algeria, Sudan, Qatar, Pakistan, the Philippines, and other countries, to showcase their cultural heritage through creative models and posters. The displays highlighted traditional clothing, cuisine, monuments, languages, festivals, art forms, handicrafts, cultural values, and historical achievements.

The event was graced by Mr. Rakesh Wagh, Head of School Activities/Education at the Indian Cultural Center, Qatar, as the Guest of Honour, along with Mr. Yasir Nainar, President of MIE-SPPU; Professor Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Director of Academic Affairs; Dr. Pranav Raj, Academic Coordinator; and Dr. Sabiha Fazalbhoy, Head of the Department of Management Sciences.

Coordinated by Dr. Heena Mulaani, the exhibition was a collaborative endeavour of the Department of Management Sciences, headed by Dr. Sabiha Fazalbhoy, and the Department of Commerce, headed by Dr. Saidia Jeelani.

The initiative promoted experiential learning, creativity, teamwork, research, and intercultural understanding. It encouraged students to appreciate the richness of different cultures while recognising the shared values that unite people across the world. More than an exhibition, it was a celebration of diversity, a platform for cultural exchange, and a meaningful step towards nurturing global citizenship.
