Assistant Professor

MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education – Savitribai Phule Pune University’s Qatar campus is looking for bilingual (Arabic-English) Assistant Professors-level faculty members to teach its undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Biotechnology (Undergraduate Program – BSc Biotechnology)

Qualified with a Master’s and a PhD in Biotechnology or a closely related field, with experience and professional skills to teach both theory and laboratory-based practical lessons in general Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology and Genetics, as per the syllabus.
Teaching experience of a minimum of five (5) years at the undergraduate/postgraduate level
Research publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Biotechnology will be an added advantage

Data Science (Postgraduate program - MSc in Data Science)

Qualified in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering, or related field up to doctorate (PhD) level.
Teaching experience of a minimum of 10 years with professional skills across all levels of computing, particularly in programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
Research publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Data Science or related fields is a must.

Psychology (Postgraduate program – MA in Psychology)

Qualified in Psychology up to the doctorate (PhD) level.
Teaching experience of a minimum of 10 years with professional skills across all levels of clinical, and counselling psychology.
Research publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Psychology or related fields are a must.

Candidates for all the above positions should possess excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English to enable effective dialogue with students. Applicants should have skills in delivering ICT-enabled digital classrooms and in using digitally enabled evaluation systems.

Librarian

We are looking for a qualified, energetic and committed candidate to join our institute as a Librarian.

Prerequisites:

Master’s degree or diploma in Library and Information Science from a recognised university.
A minimum of two years' experience in cataloguing, archiving, and other routine digitisation tasks in a library.
Good command in English language
Sound IT skills in library softwares.
Updating software catalogues and compiling book orders/ purchases

Social Media & Design Executive / Personal Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and creative bilingual (English & Arabic) professional to join our team as a Social Media & Design Executive / Personal Assistant.
This dynamic role combines digital media management with executive support duties for the Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Marketing

Manage and grow the company’s presence across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create engaging, high-quality content in English and Arabic (graphics, posts, videos, and stories).
Develop and schedule content calendars aligned with marketing goals.
Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to optimize performance.

Design & Website Management

Design marketing materials such as flyers, social posts, and presentations.
Maintain and update the company website using Wix (no coding required).
Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.

Personal Assistant to the Director

Manage the Director’s calendar, appointments, and communications.
Assist with meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
Handle general administrative tasks and support day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
Strong skills in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
Familiarity with Wix or similar website builders.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
